Leveraging experiences gained during almost 25 years of leading global teams to manage and exploit the complicated and ever-changing risks facing large organizations, John currently leads operations for Speak by Design. He is passionate about helping leaders unlock their potential and achieve their strategic objectives through engaging communications. Whether the challenge is delivering a conference keynote presentation, presenting to a board of directors, or structuring a development conversation with a team member, John's mission is to ensure that the Speak by Design team is delivering the critical coaching that their clients have come to expect.

Prior to joining Speak by Design, John held global leadership positions as the Chief Information Security Officer at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Delphi, and Whirlpool Corporation. He also led the Midwest Security and Privacy practice at Protiviti. John started his career as an officer in the United States Air Force with assignments at the Information Warfare Center in San Antonio, Texas and the NATO Combined Air Operations Center in Vicenza, Italy.

John holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Business Administration in Strategy and Marketing from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
