Community-Centric Leadership. This event was curated by and for the Los Angeles Leadership Board, a group of local leaders committed to the idea that national security and critical infrastructure resiliency is strengthened through peer-to-peer knowledge sharing, diversity, and leadership development.

Their collective insights and recommendations influence every aspect of this program including speakers, topics, and technology partner participation.

Event Description:

Sophisticated threat actors, borderless enterprises, media scrutiny and increasing personal liability have indelibly changed cybersecurity and the CISOs role. Expectations for a successful CISO have shifted beyond effective security program management into board educator, investment advocate, talent recruiter, and brand ambassador. Developing Resilient CISOs who have the skills, tools, and support to thrive in a hostile and complex environment is one of the most important priorities for our industry and our national security.
At the 2024 Los Angeles Leadership Exchange, trusted CISOs share firsthand experiences successfully navigating the shared challenges facing their peers. Through keynote presentations, CISO-only boardroom discussions, and interactive breakouts, current and emerging cybersecurity executives will experience a community-led exchange of ideas and create relationships that will serve as future partners in times of need.
Peer-Led Executive Learning Will Include:

  • Practical Tips and Techniques for Improving Board and Business Communication
  • Real World Case Studies on Technical and Non-Technical Initiatives
  • Developing the Next Generation of CISOs and Leaders
  • Ted-Talk Style Demos of Emerging Technologies to Efficiently Assess New Tech
